Jonathan D. Augusto was born on January 21, 1992 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Known by his stage name “Jonda Baires”, DJ Composer of electronic music. His main genres are: Progressive House, Melodic Techno, Tech House, Funky House, Synthwave, Trance. A native of the city of San Martín, he became known playing live in rest-bars in Palermo and Devoto in 2011. In 2012 he was called by the producer “Groove Shock” to play at the closing of the inaugural event “White Tride”. House”. The same year after the impact of his “Winter Set 2012”, he was called to play at the opening of “Temptation BA” in the town of Gral. Rodríguez (Buenos Aires), where he played for the first time on an open-air stage, sharing booth with renowned national DJs. In 2013 he studied piano at the San Martín Conservatory; he plays various instruments by ear, mainly percussion, wind, and guitar. On April 23, 2013 he inaugurated Mesdar Festival (First Healthy Festival of Electronic Music), as sole founder and general director of the event that he currently hosts as resident DJ. On February 17, 2015 he inaugurates his record label Mesdar Records. The same year he participated in the Italian international electronic audio event known as “robot festival”, and also played in the private event he held with national and international DJs. From 2016 to the present he was interviewed by electronic music radio programs such as Oceano FM, FM Las Rosas, and participations in LADO B Techno Generation. In February 2018 he was invited to play with the renowned artist Hernán Cattaneo in Barrio 31 along with 4 other DJs, days before the long-awaited event at the Teatro Colón. On July 1, 2018, exactly seven years after his professional debut, Jonda Baires made his first musical release called Origins, through his record label Mesdar Records. In 2019 he founded Starlight Productora, to carry out nightly electronic music events under a healthy concept in a healthier environment.
