Sustenance is an artist and producer of electronic music. Shane Karstel was born on September 16, 1986, from Cape Town, South Africa. He is passionate about music from an early age. His musical style is based on the genres of Techno, Minimal Techno, Deep House, Tech House, Progressive House. His music seeks to generate a state of good humor and happiness, through this universal language, behind each story. After taking several courses on mixing and mastering, he worked with sub-frequencies, and after making sure things were in phase correctly, he turned out to be his great ally when composing. Predominantly self-taught, he has spent an exceptional amount of hours working on the fundamentals of music production and music theory. Over the years, he continued to be sucked into a melodic vortex at his fingertips! Hard work was finally beginning to show his music and a significant improvement was becoming apparent! With ten years in the music scene, Sustenance always seeks to collaborate with other artists. He finally manages to seal his first major release “Caves” on Mesdar Records.
